What kind of power differance would the Isky be over the GM. ![]() It is going in my 80 Camaro, (396) TH350(trans-go shift kit),3000 TCI stall 3.73's, 255-60-15 tires out back, 3" exhaust w/H-pipe and 40 series delta race flows, 2" primary headers( I know its to big of a system for a stock engine, but it looks Bad-Ass). The one I was thinking about is #12353920(cam kit) and its recomended for 396-427, 9.5-10.75-1 comp, 3000-3400 cruise rpm, 2200-5700 (6500 atainable with proper valve springs and lifters), 228/238. cool rockin daddy 3 270 grind has been around forever. I was thinking of swaping that for a Isky 270 mega, but was wondering if a GM performance cam be better. Im lookin for a good deal on a shorty 350 or. ![]() I do believe that same cam is going to see the inside of a chevy 307(Maybe). Early to mid 1980s Chevy 350 crate motor, only. Now it has a Lunati cam that is almost the same specs as the Eddie Torker, just 114 centerline. First, Im between the Lunati 00010LK, the Comp Xtreme Energy XE268H, and the Comp Magnum 270.
